Meeting Held Between KFICA and Tony Blair Institute (TBI) team based in Kazakhstan Online

On 4 March 2026, an online working meeting was held between representatives of the Kazakhstan Foreign Investors’ Council Association (KFICA) and the Tony Blair Institute (TBI) team based in Kazakhstan.

KFICA was represented by Ms. Elmira Pistayeva, Senior Government Relations Advisor.
The Tony Blair Institute was represented by Mr. Adam Bradshaw, Head of Country Operations, and Mr. Emilio Moino, Investment Lead.

During the meeting, the parties discussed TBI’s ongoing work in support of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Kazakhstan on a project aimed at strengthening Kazakhstan’s foreign direct investment (FDI) attraction agenda.

The project focuses on developing practical recommendations to enhance the institutional ecosystem for attracting and retaining foreign direct investment.

As part of the discussion, the TBI team provided an overview of their current activities and expressed interest in receiving KFICA’s perspectives on the effectiveness of existing mechanisms for FDI attraction, particularly in the areas of governance and policy implementation.

The parties agreed to continue their dialogue and exchange views on further improving Kazakhstan’s investment climate.
